We have a large rubber rock area which is used for bikes and scooters and sports activities as well as two sandpits, swings, a slide, a boat for imaginary play, garden spaces as well as ample moveable climbing equipment and resources.
In 2013 we were lucky enough to receive a small grant and together with fundraising we have been able to put a large undercover area directly off the children’s play room for those wet Melbourne days. We continued to tirelessly fundraise to enclose the area with waterproof blinds creating a large multi-use room/area for those cold and wet Melbourne days, allowing the children to enjoy nature and the outdoors all year round.
Last year, we made significant improvements to the sandpit area, moving it to the front corner of yard along with the shaded hut to create a natural and shady play space. We also added a rock creek bed with a hand water pump and a bridge, allowing the children to access water for their sand play and creations.
We have an extensive selection of modern, age appropriate equipment which is well maintained and frequently updated. We are very lucky to have such a fantastic well resourced environment for the children to play, thrive and learn in. The Educators believe in having an environment that is stimulating, and are constantly changing the areas of play for the children, to keep them interested and engaged.
